Odds converter
Switch between American odds, decimal odds, implied probability and prediction-market cents. Useful for comparing a Kalshi or Polymarket price with a sportsbook line.
How it works
Prediction markets quote prices in cents per $1 contract, so 62¢ means a 62% implied chance. Sportsbooks quote the same idea as American odds (−163) or decimal odds (1.61). All three describe the same probability; only the format differs.
Converted sportsbook odds still include the book’s margin. Use the no-vig calculator to remove it before comparing with an exchange price.
Common questions
How do I convert American odds to probability?
For negative odds, divide the odds by the odds minus 100: −150 → 150 ÷ 250 = 60%. For positive odds, divide 100 by the odds plus 100: +150 → 100 ÷ 250 = 40%.
What are Kalshi cents in American odds?
Treat the cents as a percentage, then convert. 60¢ is 60%, which is −150. 40¢ is 40%, which is +150.
What is decimal odds?
Decimal odds show your total return per $1 staked, including the stake. A 50% chance is 2.00.
Does the converter include fees?
No. It converts formats only. Use the fee calculator to add Kalshi or Polymarket fees.
