The answer takes shape in your workspace
The assistant chooses the title, findings, panel order, and layout. A question about movement can bring up recorded ask history. A question about size can bring up available depth. A settlement question can bring the stored rule text into view.
The initial brief investigates a small selection of accessible outcomes. It should explain when coverage is thin or a comparison cannot be established. You can inspect sources directly and change the arrangement as your research develops.
Every finding starts with retrieved evidence
Courtside’s existing data supplies the evidence: exchange quotes, stored history, available ask levels, contract classifications and source excerpts, plus sportsbook references where supported. Numeric visuals render those records; the model supplies the explanation and decides which views to show.
History follows the selected venue contracts, with the available interval shown. Depth and prices are snapshots that can change. Stored rule classifications are evidence to review, not permission for the AI to declare two listings equivalent.

Access and privacy
The in-app AI workspace is in limited testing. It is not a public feature or an included Pro benefit today. Public market data, the quick overview, and the explorer remain available without it.
Starting a conversation sends your messages and selected market evidence to OpenRouter and the configured model provider. Their retention policies apply. Courtside keeps the conversation temporarily while the assistant panel is open; closing it clears that conversation from the app. Do not include credentials or personal financial information.
Connect your own research assistant through MCP
Courtside also exposes MCP research tools for authorized Pro users with a compatible client. That connection can retrieve market explanations, depth and history, compare stored rule evidence, and summarize changes in an owned saved view. It is separate from access to the in-app AI workspace.
A connected assistant can preview supported research filters before saving a view. Saving requires confirmation and a single-use preview that expires after ten minutes. Informational alerts use the supported account tools; neither integration places wagers or orders.
Create an expiring, revocable personal access token in Account → Developer access and configure it privately in a compatible Streamable HTTP client. Never paste a token into a conversation or public prompt. A one-click ChatGPT connection is not available.
Common questions
Can it explain why a price moved?
It can show what changed in the available price observations. Those observations alone do not establish a cause. Courtside does not have a connected causal news feed.
Can AI see injuries, lineups, or recent form today?
Those context feeds are not configured in Courtside. The assistant must state what is missing instead of filling the gap with guesses or presenting remembered information as current.
Does AI access establish a betting advantage?
No. Generated explanations can be wrong and require source review. Any claim of predictive performance needs separate evidence; Courtside has not established a profitable betting advantage.
